Holiday Countdown is an Advent graphic book. Originating in Germany, the Advent calendar is a tradition of counting down the days from December 1 to Christmas Eve in preparation for Christmas. This book contains twenty-four posters, each with a different graphic composition. The daily ritual of opening each page makes the season of waiting for winter and Christmas feel more intimate and ceremonial.
A snow angel is the angel-shaped imprint made by lying on freshly fallen snow and moving one’s arms and legs. The figure in this story was so clumsy that even after falling, she could not get back up for a long time and continued to flail on the ground. When she finally stood, she realized that her misfortune had left behind the shape of an angel in the snow.
