Birds are mediators between dreams and reality. They move freely between sky and ground, crossing physical boundaries with ease. While we remain bound by gravity in reality, in dreams we are able to rise lightly. They point toward a place that feels close to reality yet remains unreachable, and toward the moment of lingering somewhere in between. Birds do not stay still, even when standing at the edge of a boundary. They know no borders. They draw no lines. They can go anywhere. They dissolve the line between reality and dream, moving across the very space where we hesitate.
